Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of blessly.org and the Blessly mobile apps (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Audacious Aspiration LLC on behalf of Blessly. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Blessly Is

Blessly is a community-driven platform that helps people locate, contribute to, and submit blessing boxes — free community resource boxes where anyone can leave or take essential items. The Service is free to use. No features are locked behind a payment or subscription.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or submit content. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

You do not need an account to browse the map or view blessing box locations.

3. Your Account

Creating an account is optional. If you create one, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page.

4. User-Submitted Content

When you submit a blessing box, log a visit, upload a photo, or leave a note, you are submitting content to the Service (“User Content”). By submitting content you grant Blessly a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content as part of the Service.

You retain ownership of any content you submit. You represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate anyone else's rights.

All box submissions are reviewed by our moderation team before appearing on the map. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove any submission at our discretion.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fabricated blessing box locations
  • Upload photos or content that is offensive, harmful, or illegal
  • Harass, impersonate, or harm other users
  • Use the Service to collect or harvest personal information about others
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or submit data without our permission
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent

6. Donations

The Service does not currently accept monetary donations. We may introduce a voluntary donation option in the future to help cover operating costs. If and when we do, it will be entirely optional — no features or access will ever require a payment.

7. Intellectual Property

The Blessly name, logo, design, and all content we create are the property of Audacious Aspiration LLC and Blessly. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that blessing box locations are accurate, up to date, stocked, or safe to visit. Always use your own judgment when visiting a location.

We are not responsible for the content, condition, or availability of any blessing box listed on the Service, as boxes are submitted by community members and maintained independently.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Audacious Aspiration LLC and Blessly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Tennessee.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. For significant changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify users.
